The current owners of Maldon's Eaglehawk Motel are Olivia & Adrian Millman who moved to Maldon from Geelong in late 2021.
Adrian, a chef, and Olivia, a teacher, were captivated with the history, beauty, and charm of Maldon and the surrounding area. In purchasing the motel, it provided them with the perfect lifestyle/business/tree-change they had been seeking.
Their goal is to provide a relaxing and enjoyable stay for Maldon visitors. It is only a 10-minute walk to the main street where beautiful shops (many showcasing works from local artists/authors) and eateries await. Being a chef, Adrian caters for groups upon request.
Maldon's Eaglehawk Motel provides a great centrally located base from which to explore this fascinating region. The motel's country style charm, ambience, and facilties (beautiful gardens, BBQ area, pool) along with well appointed rooms make for a unique 'motel' experience.
The motel was originally built in the 1980s as part of the Old Eaglehawk Hotel complex (originally established in 1854) but was separated into two titles in 1996. The original concept for the hotel has been lovingly cared for over the years.
